Charlie has worked diligently as an educator both in the Philadelphia area as well as in his hometown of State College.  In the past year alone, he’s had the pleasure of working with nearly 40 private students at Robert M. Sides, The Music Academy, and his own private studio. 

As a clinician, he’s had the opportunity to give workshops involving jazz drum set technique as part of Penn State’s Summer Jazz Camp.  He’s been an ajudicator for PMEA festivals, including the State College High School Jazz Fest in April of 2009.  In addition, he has prepared workshops for PMEA-sponsored events regarding Jazz Education in public school curricula.
