Prophecies of War

#album: Released November 2007

This  multimedia undertaking from At Hand Productions makes its statement clear through swirls of droning synths, “spastic drumming” electric sax, floor to ceiling projector screens, and audio and video clips. Watch the DVD, or get a copy of the studio version here:

The Case of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Dog

#publication: Released October 2010

I was asked by author Martha Freeman to write some music for the first book of her new series. Armed with her lyrics for two tunes, I wrote some ditties called “Read A Book” and “Rock ‘n’ Roll Dog”. It was a great project to work on, and my sheet music is published in the last pages. There’s also a self-made recording of “Rock ‘n’ Roll Dog” floating around the interwebs...

Jill & Jam: Goin’ on a Journey: Songs for Every Body

#album: Released November 2010

Multi-instrumentalist, composer, and Registered Dietician, Jill Jayne is the Rockstar Nutritionist. She spends her days traveling to schools across the country, advocating good dietary habits through her unique performances. I was privileged to help her put together a bucket-drum groove in the studio for her latest album: check out track 10, called “All That Junk”!

Marigold Opera

A brand-spankin’ new ensemble of great ambition: spearheaded by composers Matt Schlatter and Nathan Cooke, this “chamber group” features cello, violin, french horn, saxophone, vibraphone, drum set, piano, and vocals. Check out the Facebook page for new tracks recorded and mixed by yours truly!

William Gruff

An album many years in the making. Once, there was a band called Mountain Man. Back in 2007, they were voted the Best Band in Philadelphia by the Emergenza international music festival. Now the Mountain Man goes by his real name, and this is what he sounds like.
